Bala Brook, formerly known as Zeal cottage, was purchased from the Golden Buddha Centre in November 2008. Now , in its inital phase of development as a retreat centre Bala Brook is supported financially and psychologically by the Spanda Trust.
At present Jo Pelly (director) and her dog reside here backed up by a team of helpers. Jo is deaf.
